The Old School House Our Site

The Old School House campsite is situated within the 2 acre grounds of a beautifully restored Victorian school house situated mid-way between Tain and Invergordon. It sits in splendid isolation surrounded by fields with the forest as its backdrop. It is accessed directly from the famous A9 NC500 route and is conveniently just a few minutes from the nearest pub, supermarket and town.

Two young Red Kites drop in for a visit from time to time and deer occasionally wander up to the adjacent field at night. In April/May the fields are full of baby lambs and in October/November migrating geese land on the adjacent fields. The site is a short drive from five sandy beaches and breath taking coastal and mountain scenery can be viewed within a short drive from the site.
